Italy

Edison SPA, Italy's largest private energy producer, is working to commercialize Electric Fuel technology in southern Europe. Edison is leading two programs in Italy: a 10 vehicle project in Turin and a 100 vehicle project in Milan. It operates an Electric Fuel regeneration plant near Turin, Italy. Edison has installed an Electric Fuel zinc-air battery in a subcompact car and in a large Fiat Ducato van as part of its demonstration drive program for fleet users and automotive manufacturers.

Scandinavia

Vattenfall, the largest electric utility in Sweden, signed a Rights Vattenfall AB, Sweden's largest utility, has obtained first rights to sell 
agreement for a license to establish and operate the Electric Fuel infrastructure for the territory of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and St. Petersburg, Russia. Vattenfall and Electric Fuel recently agreed to extend the license agreement and look forward to continuing the cooperation.


The Netherlands

Electric Fuel is working on a program for the Province of Gelderland, the largest province in Holland, to utilize the Electric Fuel Electric Vehicle System in passenger "train-taxis". The Electric Fuel in the Netherlandsprogram is managed by KEMA, an international consulting and management organization, and the electric utility NUON. A Mercedes-Benz Vito passenger van has been equipped with Electric Fuel batteries and has been used in demonstrations in Holland.
